Three-spotted Orange Comb-footed Spider
This male is readily recognisable with its bright orange colouration with three black spots at the posterior half of the abdomen. Its reproductive organ suggests that it is closely related to Parasteatoda camura Simon 1877, first described from the Basilan Island in southern Philippines, found also in Papua New Guinea. Notwithstanding the similarity of their genitalia, the external appearances of the two species are clearly different.
