Golden Abdomen Jumper
The species is sexually dimorphic. The male is recognised by its spotted carapace and golden abdomen. The body of young females may be covered by scales that give them a light bluish sheen. These scales are easily rubbed off and may be less discernible in older females, thereby revealing the lined pattern on the body.
