Lobster Claw Tiny Metallic Jumper
The male palps in this species have a uniquely shaped embolus that resembles a lobster claw, a feature not seen in typical Phintella. The golden dorsum of the male is marked by a transverse black-and-white band, with a black spot near the spinnerets. The female can be recognised by eight patches of white setae on the dorsum which is framed anteriorly and laterally by a pair of arches made of white setae.
