Green-and-red Long-jawed Spider
Both males and females are vividly green with irregular red markings on the dorsum. Some individuals may have more red pigmentation than others. The chelicerae of the male are longer than the cephalothorax.
Etymology | Named after the Dutch naturalist Alexander W. M. van Hasselt (1814 to 1902), presumably because he provided the holotype to Thorell. |

Habitat | Tree foliage along jungle edges. |
Biology | Egg sacs are suspended in the web or just under the leaf surface, unlike T. mandibulata. |
