Blue-and-black Fighting Spider
The male is superficially similar to those T. bhamoensis and T. demissa. with vibrantly iridescent blue scales over the body, with transverse bands across the dorsum.
The surface of the carapace is uniformly black, overlaid with straight and curved bands of metallic blue scales, but without a posterior reddish brown crescent as seen in T. demissa.
As in T. demissa, tibiae I of the males are armed with dorsal spines. The male palps are covered with only black hairs, as in T. bhamoensis (without the iridescent blue setae seen on the male palps of T. demissa).
Despite sharing some of the characteristics of either T. bhamoensis or T. demissa, distinct differences are seen when their respective genitalia are compared.
