Horned Toad Huntsman
This sparassid reminds one of a horned toad with the well-developed “horns” on both corners of the cephalic region. It differs from typical Heteropoda by its small size, a heavily tufted and oblong abdomen, and a series of erect spines on the femora. Newly hatched spiderlings are much larger than those of typical Heteropoda.
