Black-jaw Huntsman
One of the most common large Heteropoda huntsman spiders in Southeast Asian forests, it is variable in size and colouration, ranging from mottled reddish brown to uniformly blackish brown in the females. The abdomen of some males may be spotted with distinct dark patches. In most cases, the chelicerae of both sexes are black, a character that is shared by some other species of Heteropoda in Southeast Asia.
